Career Pathway Info

Students, presented here or on the links provided to the left are a series of pages with a wealth of information for you to utilize for the advancement of your career planning.  Some of the information provided includes:  Career Shadowing links, job application and interviewing tips, and a Job Board.  The above listed items can all be found as links on this page.

Occasionally, there will be links to other school related information or forms that are of importance to you.  Check the "What's New!" link on the home page for those items.

If you are interested in either the a Co-op (Capstone WBL) or Work Study placement, I would like to ask you to complete the application process by clicking on the "Program Application" button on the left.  However, before you do that, let's take a brief look at the different programs available.  Any of these programs are available to any junior or senior student who meets limited requirements.

Capstone WBL:   This program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled in one of the CTE (Career-Technical Education) courses.  These courses include: Marketing, or any course offered at the Montcalm County Career Center (MACC).  A student participating in this program can receive credit towards graduation for work experience completed before, during, or after school hours.
Work Study:   This program is similar to the Capstone program with two differences. One difference, the student doesn't need to have a related CTE course.  The second, the number of credits that can be earned towards graduation is less than the Capstone program.
